The original folding dish design has served over 7,000 happy travellers and now, after 5 years, we have the version 2. Even stronger and better than the first.

 

 

 

With fold up arm, the TravelSat-V2 dish fits neatly into its padded carry bag. The dish is supplied fully assembled and is ready for you to connect your satellite finder straight out of the box.

 

 

 

 

The entire dish folds down to only 17cm depth inside the bag.

 

 

 

 

An elevation scale is adhered to the tube and is easy to read and accurate.

The dish reflector is 75cm side to side and 83cm top to bottom and the entire package weighs around 4KG. This dish will provide good signal coverage in all of Australia.

 

 

PROS and CONS
 

The benefits of this style of dish are:

  • No separate tripod is required. This reduces weight by up to 5KG.
  • Less space. As there is no tripod required, only the dish needs to be stored.
  • Setup time is about 30 seconds to have the dish ready for alignment.
  • Alignment is easier than a standard tripod mount dish.
  • Lower cost.

 

The disadvantages of this style of dish are:

  • The base is intergrated into the dish on the TravelSat-V2 and can cause problems on rocky ground. The ground does not need to be level but it does need to be flat for the base to be stable.
  • It cannot be pole mounted. If you would like to mount your dish on a pole on your drawbar consider our TravelSat SP75 dish

Turnaround

Most items are kept in stock in at all times. Orders placed before 12-midday on business days are usually shipped the same day. All other orders will be shipped on the next business day after the order is placed.

All shipments will have an authority to leave in a dry and safe place. 

Carriers

The carriers we use to deliver our orders include Australia Post and TNT/FedEx. For larger items, such as our Mobile VAST TV Kits, we use TNT/FedEx as well as other Couriers, which means that we are unable to send to an Australia Post post office. 

Order Tracking

Almost all of our carriers provide tracking numbers. If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders may not have tracking numbers depending upon the method used.

Shipping Rates

We offer nation-wide shipping on all of our products. Shipping will be calculated at the checkout and the size and weight of you order will be used to calculate the actual shipping price. At the checkout you will have the opportunity to cancel your order if you are not happy with the quoted shipping price. We retain the right to cancel any orders where the actual cost of shipping substantially exceeds our allocated rate.

We rarely experience faults with our products. If you think your product is faulty we will remedy the problem.

If you need to return an item to us please ensure you follow these steps:

  1. Call us on 0468 444 112 or email us on admin@travelsat.com.au with an explanation of the problem.
  2. If we cannot resolve the problem we will issue you with a Return Authority (RA) Number to track your return.
  3. You will need to organise the return shipping and pay the shipping costs. We recommend that you use a method where the item can be tracked and we recommend you insure the item to protect your interests.
  4. If we examine the item and it is confirmed to have a problem we will refund your return shipping costs so please keep your receipts.
  5. If not fault is found with the item we will contact you to arrange for the item to be returned to you.  Under these circumstances you will be responsible for all shipping costs.
  6. If the item is found to have a fault we will discuss with you your rights to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
