What Is The Best Satellite Finder?

The best satellite meter (often referred to as a satellite finder) is a very subjective question. The TravelSat 4200HD and the SatKing SK3200 are definitely the best consumer level satellite meters but they are also the most expensive. They are both digital satellite finders and provide a signal quality reading as well as signal strength making alignment a lot easier. They also feature an internal rechargable battery.

If you are on a tighter budget you could consider the SatKing SK500. It is still a digital satellite meter and has all the features of the TravelSat 4200HD and the SatKing SK3200 but does not have an internal rechargable battery. This means that you need to connect it to a VAST decoder for power when in use.
